Job Description</b><p><br>
As part of the Design Team, the Motion Art Director is responsible for the conceptual development and execution of motion graphics in service of the Peacock brand. The Motion Art Director is expected to lead the Motion Team. Working with the Head of Brand Design, the Motion Art Director is responsible for making sure all design created by the team is in line with the overall Peacock Brand strategy as well as the strategic imperatives of specific projects.</p><p>
The Motion Art Director&rsquo;s job requires strong conceptual skills including the ability to creatively problem solve and interpret a strategy graphically. Their background should include formal training in graphic design, typography and motion design, a current knowledge of styles and trends in design and branding, knowledge of sophisticated motion graphics techniques and video technology as well as hands on knowledge of graphics software such as After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.</p><p>
The Design Team services Peacock Brand Design, On-Platform, Muti-title and Library Creative, Partnerships, Films, Originals, Growth &amp; Performance Marketing, and supports the broader teams across company, so strong collaboration, communication and teamwork are required.</p><p>
In addition to managing and directing work created by the team and external agencies, the Motion Art Director is responsible for executing high level projects. The Motion Graphics Designer has a solid foundation in design principles and can own the full design process including research, original logo design, storyboarding, and execution of animations. Pitch designs for new show packages and redesigns. Must be able to storyboard concepts and present your work in a group environment</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with other designers to produce cohesive graphics packages across multiple platforms including print campaigns, set/scenic mockups, digital toolkits, and internal company presentations</div></li><li><div>
Work closely with art directors, creative director, and department management to ensure work aligns with network/show identity and editorial guidelines</div></li><li><div>
Employ a wide range of techniques and treatments based on the theme and tone of each project</div></li><li><div>

Proven experience with Cinema 4D or Maya</div></li><li><div>
