The Technical Writer will be responsible for reviewing reports, manuals, and other documents developed by key stakeholders in relation to the testing, development, and deployment of technologies that benefit diplomatic posts worldwide. This includes editing content for clarity, consistency across related documents, adherence to Department of State style guides and templates, and gaps in comprehensiveness so that information is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers. The Technical Writer will work with team members in technical roles to interpret information for both technical and non-technical users. The Technical Writer will also work with Program Coordinators to track document submissions, address comments from contractor and U.S. Government reviewers, and prepare documents for final approval.
