The Nurse Practitioner will be instrumental in enhancing patient outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting the overall mission of providing accessible and compassionate healthcare services.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and vital signs assessments, to establish accurate diagnoses.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating medication administration.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for comprehensive medical documentation and coding (ICD-10, CPT).</li><li>Provide patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition, medication adherence, and disease management while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Support discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and working within Workers' Compensation law frameworks when applicable.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and billing.</li><li>Skilled in performing diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing and medical imaging; familiar with ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate record keeping.</li><li>Excellent communication skills complemented by a thorough understanding of medical terminology and physiology knowledge necessary for comprehensive patient assessment.
