Responsibilities:<br>
1. Receives and accurately transcribes orders from prescribers under the supervision of a pharmacist. Process prescriptions in a timely order and manner so as to best take care of patient needs.<br>
2. Assists with training of new employees, educating them in job-specific functions.<br>
3. Assists with Medication Therapy Management, Medsync, and other clinical outreach programs.<br>
4. Selects and prepares medications (oral, topical, controlled substances, etc.) as authorized by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.<br>
5. Prepares medications for pick-up, delivery or shipping. Returns unpurchased medications to stock and processes credits.<br>
6. Solves issues with patient payment (prior authorization, patient assistance needed, etc.). Sells prescriptions to patients and processes payment. Accurately manages cash and other payments.<br>
7. Responds to and triages requests from customers for assistance with pharmacy services that do not require a pharmacist&rsquo;s professional judgment or expertise.<br>
8. Operates and supports automated dispensing technology to supply correct medications for individual patients, according to pharmacist and physician orders.<br>
9. Orders, receives, restocks, and rotates inventory and supplies, and contributes to expiration date management.<br>

<div>Campus Health (CH) is a multi-specialty ambulatory college health clinic providing quality, and affordable health care for eligible students and spouses. Annually, CH has more than 80,000 patient encounters, which includes Primary Care and Women&rsquo;s Health as well as specialty clinics in sports medicine, orthopedics, gynecology, physical therapy, counseling and psychological services, travel clinic and allergy clinic. Weekend acute care is provided from 8-5 PM. On site ancillary services include pharmacy, OTC pharmacy, Student Stores pharmacy, medical laboratory, and radiology.<br>

This individual will develop relationships within the athletic department, the university, and the community to effectively support student-athletes. </p><p></p><p>Labor &amp; Delivery is looking for a Clinical Support Tech I to join their department. The Clinical Support Tech (CST) is a dual role of the Nursing Assistant I and the Health Unit Coordinator.</p><p>
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant I and must be able to work both day and night shifts.</p><p></p><p>

Our Labor &amp; Delivery Unit is a Level III referral center, which provides care to both normal and high-risk laboring and ante partum patients. Approximately 3,800 babies are born each year at UNCH. Several thousand patients are also seen in its triage area. In addition, our providers and staff perform numerous high-risk procedures such as vaginal and cerclage placements, amniocentesis and versions as well as various fetal procedures, including IUTs, fetal shunt placements and exit procedures. The unit consists of 15 labor and delivery rooms, 5 triage rooms, a 2-bed recovery room, and 3 operating rooms. Anesthesia coverage is provided 24/7.</p><p><b>
This position qualifies for an extensive benefit package including PTO hours, which are accrued based on the number of worked hours. This position requires the ability to attend a week long orientation which is offered every two weeks.</b></p><p></p><p>
Orientation Schedule: Monday and Tuesday - In person from 8am to 4pm; Wednesday - 8am to 11am Virtual and in person from 1pm to 5 pm; and Thursday and Friday - Virtual.
</p><p>Summary:<br>
Responsible for assisting the professional caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms and performing a wide range of clerical, transcription, and maintenance of the patient care unit desk area functions.</p><p></p><p><br>

1. Assists physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, as well as procurement of equipment and supplies.<br>

Provides clinical support assistance to include, but not limited to, cleaning the work area, maintaining office equipment, troubleshooting common software and hardware problems, changing linens, checking supply inventory, re-stocking supplies, transporting patients/ supplies/ specimens, and assisting in the orientation of new employees and students.<br>
5. Provides direct personal care to patients as outlined in plan of care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, assisting with ambulation. Measures and records vital signs, and patient height and weight. May be responsible for specimen collection, skin preps/scrubs, catheter care, capillary blood glucose checks, simple wound care, range of motion exercises, and/or postural drainage.<br>
6. Reinforces routine teaching given to patients by the registered nurse or physician and document patient understanding of instructions. Distributes patient education materials at the request of patients and/or health care providers</p><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
