SUMMARY 
Provide security for Lumen Field, Lumen Field Event Center and WAMU Theater. Act as primary point of contact for all internal and external customers regarding security-related needs.
 
The appointee will possess honesty, integrity, embrace diversity by demonstrating respect and kindness to others, good judgment and the ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner without the unnecessary use of physical force or escalating the situation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>
Work closely with facility and contract security personnel regarding all security related activities</li><li>
Implement all emergency procedures when situations arise</li><li>
Attend briefings with the outgoing Command Administrator or designee to review the shift log and address any outstanding issues. Repeat the process with the incoming Command Administrator at end of the shift</li><li>
Before end of shift, prepare and submit complete and well written incident reports to the Security Lead or Security Manager for review and approval. Make suggested changes as deemed appropriate before the incident report is filed for recordkeeping purposes</li><li>
Investigate suspicious persons or activities encountered while on duty</li><li>
Review daily manifests to be aware of all the planned events during the assigned shift</li><li>
Provide professional class security and event related support to the event manager on duty, the guests and other staff</li><li>
Provide escorts to staff and contractors to highly secured areas as well as League Officials and VIP&rsquo;s on event days</li><li>
Responsible for handling internal communications activities such as: phones, radios, etc.</li><li>
Operate and maintain Security and Fire Command panels located in the Security Operations Center and the Fire Control room</li><li>
Monitor the entry and departure of people in the facility using access control and video management systems</li><li>
Manage in place key control measures</li><li>
Conduct initial investigations into complaints and/or incidents as directed by management</li><li>
Conduct patrols of the facility ensuring personnel and premises are safe preventing damage, burglary and other unexpected occurrences</li><li>
Responsible for signing out uniforms, keys, radios, timecards, etc., to staff</li><li>
Work with contractors, vendors, clients, exhibitors and site construction teams to exchange and gather information regarding check-in and check-out procedures</li><li>
Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Shift assignments may change often. Ability to hold over shifts as required to assist with special events</li><li>
Resolve conflicts through the use of excellent intrapersonal skills</li><li>

 Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Regional Manager for our Seattle, WA area market. The Regional Manager is responsible for leading operations, client relationships, customer service, and personal management within a designated, geographical portfolio. The ideal candidate has proven leadership abilities and a commitment to service and outstanding client and employee relationships.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 This position offers a compensation package of up to $155,000 which includes:

 Local candidates are highly preferred as this role sits in the Seattle area and must be available to visit client sites in Seattle and all surrounding areas.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Hire, train, develop, and motivate supervisory staff to effectively manage the daily operations of security site personnel. Oversee regional employee onboarding process to include interviews, selection, training, and licensing of new hires.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build superior customer relationships and exceed client service levels to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage employee performance including performance appraisals, employee recognition, coaching and staff development initiatives, and corrective actions. The regional manager will work with the appropriate supervisor to ensure that all decisions comply with company policy, federal and state regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the executive management team to establish branch goals and objectives and communicate these objectives with the customer and employees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Operational functions include payroll, billing, staffing, scheduling, and employee relations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage quality assurance inspections and initiatives to assure compliance and commitment to the client.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cost control and budgeting to ensure branch accounts remain on service-related and budgetary targets. The Regional Manager should be able to respond to goal deficiencies as well as develop and implement action plans to alleviate deficiencies and meet/exceed goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work in conjunction with sales and marketing to identify and develop new business opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 May perform other duties as assigned by Management.

 QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 5 years or more management-related experience preferably in the security industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Focus on customer service excellence and a strong ability to develop and foster high-level relationships with client representatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license in all areas under authority.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license and good driving record.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to travel and regularly visit site locations. Knowledge of the geographical region is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 24/7 availability to respond to the client and staff, site events, or have qualified backup when unavailable.
 </li>
 <li>
 May perform other duties as assigned by Management and in coordination with the Regional team.
