This critical role will define the People Team's data strategy, build and scale our analytics capabilities, and provide actionable, executive-ready insights to drive informed business decisions and improve organizational effectiveness. What You'll Do

This role blends strategic partnership, business consulting, and strong technical execution across the People data ecosystem.

<li>Business Consultation &amp; Influence: Serve as the primary analytics partner to HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Recruiting, and executive teams, translating complex cross-functional data into compelling narratives that surface risks, inform strategy, and ensure organizational alignment.</li>

What You Have

<li>Bachelor's degree or similar college-level education required, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a business-related degree</li>
<li>3+ years of relevant hands-on analytics experience, including experience building statistical models and translating those insights into actionable recommendations</li>
<li>Proven ability to work collaboratively across different functions</li>
<li>Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills</li>
<li>Hands-on Workday experience (report/dashboard building is a plus)</li>

The Senior Analyst will own and execute a suite of analytics that drive underwriting and portfolio strategy. This includes owning and updating our Underwriting Capital Model which measures risk-adjusted returns from our (re)insurance businesses. It also includes data-driven analytics on business / portfolio mix, diversification and volatility assessments, and pro-forma analyses of portfolio mix changes. The ideal candidate will be adept at using portfolio data to build visualizations, exhibits, and presentations that enhance understanding and insight on the portfolio.
Beyond portfolio assessment, the candidate will also conduct industry trends and partner with Actuarial on underwriting profitability analysis to identify promising areas of product / underwriting that SPNT can pursue to enhance portfolio returns. As such, Global Marketing is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of COE teams including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy &amp; Transformation, Content, Design, Partnerships, Media, and Marketing Tech and Effectiveness, as well as marketing teams for each of our revenue businesses. Together, these functions collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings.  About The Role
 
 
 
 We are seeking a highly organized and analytically minded content strategy, operations and effectiveness associate to join the content team within the Executive Office. This role is ideal for an emerging professional passionate about content marketing and thought leadership. They must have demonstrable experience using data to inform strategy, excellent project management skills and the ability to manage content workflows. They will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of our Executive Office content strategy and working as a center of excellence across the firm as a liaison with content marketing teams in all businesses. This role is based in New York and will report to the head of content strategy.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Content Calendar Management: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of editorial calendars across various platforms, ensuring timely delivery and publication of content.
 </li>
 <li>
 Content Performance Analysis: Take the lead in analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, podcast and social media analytics platforms) to monitor content performance, track key metrics such as traffic, engagement, sentiment, and favorability. Provide insights and recommendations for content optimization based on data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reporting: Assist in generating regular reports on content performance and present findings to the team and senior stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Content Creation Support: Support the content team in brainstorming ideas, researching topics, and assisting with the planning of content campaigns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cross-functional and Firmwide Collaboration: Coordinate with content marketing stakeholders across the firm, as well as with cross-functional teams (e.g., brand marketing and analytics) to ensure alignment with business goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on competitor content strategies and industry trends to identify opportunities and gaps in our content approach.
 </li>
 <li>
 SEO Optimization: Contribute to content optimization efforts by assisting with keyword research and ensuring content aligns with SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Trend Monitoring: Keep a constant pulse on content marketing trends and media developments to inform content and decision making.

 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>

 3+ years of experience in content marketing or marketing analytics, with proven experience of digital content performance analysis and strategy
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience working with analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, social media insights) to measure content performance and inform decisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a detailed content calendar.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 A practical, data-driven mindset with an eagerness to learn and adapt.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.

 </ul>
 
 Salary Range
 
 
 
 The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.

We focus on understanding the business problem first and then use data to solve it &mdash; whether through analysis, experimentation, or building scalable data products.

As a Senior Manager of Data Science, you'll lead and grow a team of data scientists, build scalable analytics processes, and foster cross-functional partnerships that ensure data is always driving outcomes in service of Calm's mission.

What You'll Do

<li>Lead, mentor, and support a team of data scientists, providing clear objectives, effective feedback, and career development opportunities</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders across product, growth marketing, finance, and engineering to translate business problems into impactful data science solutions</li>
<li>Lead and conduct analytics focused areas of product development: ideation, exploration, opportunity sizing, metric design, experimentation, and impact measurement</li>
<li>Partner with product teams to perform deep-dive analysis on user engagement, growth, and retention to guide product development and business strategy</li>
<li>Define and evolve Calm's data science and analytics architecture, ensuring systems and tools (Amplitude, Tableau, Mode, internal platforms) scale with business needs</li>
<li>Automate data flows, build internal data products, and empower decision-makers with timely and actionable insights</li>
<li>Make strategic &quot;buy vs build&quot; decisions on tooling and infrastructure investments for data science</li>
<li>Establish and roll out best practices for experimentation, measurement, and cross-functional collaboration</li>

Who You Are

<li>6+ years of analytics experience, ideally with digital consumer products or subscription businesses</li>
<li>2+ years of experience directly managing data scientists or analysts</li>
<li>You have led teams with expertise in experimentation and causal inference</li>

Calm uses a geographic pay model that determines salaries based on the location where an employee lives. For this position, the base pay ranges across Calm's pay tiers is as follows: $198,000 - $275,000. The base pay range represents the low and high ends of Calm's salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience, and other qualifications. Calm uses employee zip code to determine which pay range applies. This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.<div>
