Lexington is the fasting growing segment in AIG&rsquo;s North America operations. It accounts for more than 25% of North America&rsquo;s premium with revenue in excess of $3.5BN.It is a vibrant and growing department that sits as a key strategic asset for AIG as referenced in AIG&rsquo;s earnings calls.
The Finance department is a strategic partner to Lexington providing advice and business partner support to the CEO of Lexington and his leadership team in delivering strategic goals around profitability and the providing of accurate and timely financial reporting. Our responsibility is to aid the business in making good decisions through accurate data and analysis with a focus on business reviews, forecasting, budgeting, the competitive environment and monthly/quarterly KPI&rsquo;s.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT<ul><li>
Be a Business Partner to the Lexington underwriting team, assisting the team with financial planning activities, quarterly closings, business reviews, various ad-hoc analysis and management information.</li><li>
Assist the business in identifying opportunities to improve profitability.</li><li>
Achieve improvements in our operating model to optimize efficiency and expenses.</li><li>
Use technology and tools where appropriate to reduce manual activities and improve quality, timeliness, and accuracy of business insights.</li><li>
Improve financial reporting by focusing on value accretive tasks and projects.</li><li>
Become a trusted member of the team and assist in building a solid bench for promotion</li><li>
Enhance collaboration with Finance Operations, Global FP&amp;A and Controllers to further standardize our financial reporting and earnings materials.</li></ul>
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Produce monthly KPI&rsquo;s and perform analysis on Lexington&rsquo;s premium performance across various Business Units</li><li>
Prepare quarterly KPI&rsquo;s and other reporting deliverables for the quarter close reporting process. This includes preparation and reporting on Actual, Forecast, and Budget</li><li>
Assist with the Lexington Budget and Forecasting processes</li><li>
Support P&amp;L analysis for Actuals, Budget and Forecast (Premium, Losses, Expenses, etc)</li><li>
Help streamline and standardize reports across Lexington and Retail Property</li><li>
Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and analytics for senior management (Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Management Letter, Budget Reviews)</li><li>
Monitor Reinsurance Coding&rsquo;s and co-ordinate with the business and operations as needed</li><li>
Assist in creating value add management reports for senior business leadership</li><li>
Assist in supporting a portfolio business unit, and develop the skills to take lead on a portfolio business unit within 12-18 months</li><li>
Support industry research and competitive analysis</li><li>
Coordinate with Actuarial, Operations, Expense, and Reinsurance teams on an as needed basis</li></ul>

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the contract Senior Financial Analyst will play a vital role in reporting operations and with transitioning of our accounting functions to our Shared Service Center. The contract Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with other Analysts in the team to ensure that all accounting entries are posted correctly, review for missing entries, and check entries for accuracy. Responsibilities include assisting with all BFC reporting packages for all North America entities such as monthly Actuals reporting, Forecast &amp; Budgeting, conducting Operational KPI analysis, and addressing various financial ad hoc requests for Hogarth Worldwide via the Hogarth Global team or the WPP teams. The contract Senior Financial Analyst will provide comprehensive variance explanations, comparing actual results against prior years and forecasts. The contract Senior Financial Analyst must be able to organize and make sense of large project scopes, datasets, workflows, and assist with the forecasting and reporting for all WPP requirements.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities 
 
This position performs the critical payroll support functions of the NYCT/MaBSTOA payroll control group in making required payroll payments to NYCT/MaBSTOA employees within agreed upon deadlines. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with the following functions:
 
<ul><li>Perform detailed analysis to verify the accuracy of eligibility files for the payment of collective bargaining agreement required special payments.
</li><li>Review and correct sick letter files using PeopleSoft queries. Submit corrected files for processing to produce sick letters and create files needed to update timekeeping systems.</li><li>
Arrange for distribution of sick letters in the mail, the posting of copies to the employees myMTAportal and the updating of the employee&rsquo;s status in the timekeeping systems.
</li><li>Determine eligibility for Essential Worker Bonus payments based on collective bargaining agreements and employment status.</li><li>
Review and process annuity payments and education funds.</li><li>
Review wage computations and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies for RWA data validation files.</li><li>
Review and confirm longevity payments.</li><li>
Review sick and lump sum payments and check reversals for all employees at NYCT.</li><li>
Assist with all check reversals and oversee W2 corrections.</li><li>
Assist in the review of biweekly high-roller reports.</li><li>
Perform other payroll duties as assigned by management.</li></ul> 
 
Education and Experience 
 
Associate Staff Analyst 
1. A master&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies, or a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, and one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management, or in a related area; or 
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in &quot;1&quot; above; or 
3. An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college and five years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in &ldquo;1&rdquo; above; or 
4. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State&rsquo;s department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and seven years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in &ldquo;1&rdquo; above; or 
5. A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to &ldquo;1&rdquo;, &ldquo;2&rdquo;, &ldquo;3&rdquo;, or &ldquo;4&rdquo; above. College 
education may be substituted for professional experience at the rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for one year of experience. However, all candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience as described in &ldquo;1&rdquo; above.

 The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $68,000 - $129,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
