 The Healy Laboratory in the Chemistry Program of the Division of Sciences at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Post-doctoral Associate or Associate Research Scientist starting November 2026. Applicants with backgrounds in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry are encouraged to apply. The research is aimed at developing an automated chemical platform for the synthesis and biological evaluation of natural products as leads for a drug discovery program.  Applicants for the Post-Doctoral Associate appointment must have received a Ph.D. in chemistry or related subject or be within a few months from completion, and with no more than five years post receipt of their PhD. Post-Doctoral Associate/ Associate Research Scientist in the Division of Science (Chemistry) - Dr. Alan Healy

 The Post-doc will be supervised by Professor Samreen Malik and will be part of a research team that works on issues related to development of human capital as well as climate and sustainable development. Some of the topics of interest include how better air quality improves student's health and non-cognitive functions; sleep patterns of children and its relation to their academic achievement; whether households in low income countries adopt water saving technology to overcome water scarcity; whether cleaning air in workplaces impacts worker's productivity. Many of the projects will involve public and private partnership in the UAE and in other countries and the post-doc will be useful for the UAE based partnership, holding meetings, convincing potential partners to collaborate, and present work to the partners and academics. As part of the team, the post-doc will work full-time as co-author on Dr. Malik's projects. The post-doc will also provide Malik&rsquo;s team of researchers and faculty with Data Analytics, Data visualization, Data Management, coding &amp; development and support of research design.  Your Main Role Will Be:
