 1. JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY
 
 
 
 The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) for oil &amp; gas projects. This role ensures that all products, materials, and processes comply with client specifications, applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The engineer will oversee inspection, testing, documentation, and non-conformance control to guarantee project integrity and safety.
 
 
 
 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 
 Quality Assurance (QA)

 Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Plans, Inspection &amp; Test Plans (ITPs), and procedures in line with ISO 9001 and API Q1/Q2.

 Conduct internal and external quality audits (suppliers, subcontractors, project phases).

 Manage document control for quality records &ndash; ensure latest revisions of drawings, specs, and standards are used.

 Oversee day-to-day inspection activities (incoming, in-process, final) for equipment, piping, structural, and welding works.

 Coordinate and witness NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) such as UT, RT, MT, PT.

 Review material test certificates (MTCs) and ensure traceability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welder qualifications.

 Monitor coating, painting, and insulation quality as per project specs.

 Prepare and review QA/QC reports, test packages, and final handover dossiers.

This is a senior-level quality assurance and quality control position responsible for overseeing contract compliance, auditing, inspections, and ensuring adherence to international standards across complex engineering projects. Experience preferred in Automatic Train Control, Transit Communications, Transit Vehicle Systems, Elevator and Escalators, Fare Collection, and/or Bus Maintenance contract management.</li><li>
