Required:

 The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Shop/Department Manager in the effective running of the Shop/Department and replacing him/her when needed, in order to ensure the highest standards of customer service are achieved and maintained.
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Communicate sales plans and targets to the Shop/Department team, monitor performance on an ongoing basis, and suggest corrective actions to hierarchy when needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Assign routine and non-routine tasks and assist in the schedule preparation for the Sales Associates,
 </li>
 <li>
 Cashiers and Coordinators (when applicable) and ensure that activities are carried out in the most efficient manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Greet customers and ensure that they are served by shop staff in a timely manner and in compliance with quality and customer service standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Report occurring operational issues and handle customer complaints in in a timely manner, suggest solutions or escalate them as appropriate in order to ensure operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle or assist the Shop/Department Manager in handling the maintenance of inventories and placement of product orders to ensure effective stock management and availability of products
 </li>
 <li>
 Motivate team members and provide them with the necessary support in terms of training and development in order to optimize sales results
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise the Opening process of the shop in order to ensure that all set procedures regarding petty cash, reporting, systems, etc. are respected
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree
 </li>
 <li>
 1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial role; experience in retail is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Good product knowledge and understanding of store operating procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in MS Office
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in English
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep product knowledge across all departments
 </li>

<ul><li>Identify business opportunities and improve sales of the automotive batteries/ Paint</li><li>Prepare and delivers presentations explaining the products and services to customers and prospective clients;</li><li>Achieve individual sales target, GP target and target of allotted team through different sales channels on monthly and annual basis;</li><li>Implement effective advertising and promotional plans with the guidance of the manager to achieve sales objectives;</li><li>Conduct market analysis to strengthen customer database and customer index and to forecast the possible sales opportunities to create new sales leads;</li><li>Ensure that sales enquires are filed and follow up is done to maximize enquiry conversion;</li><li>Ensure that all sales are carried out in accordance with the cash and credit norms prescribed by the Finance department;</li><li>Managing the credit extended to customers by timely submission of documents and collection of cash/cheque payments within stipulated periods;</li><li>Submission of daily and monthly sales reports presenting various sales figures, target sales for the subsequent month, as well as total sales discounts and forward to the manager;</li><li>Work closely with the sales coordinator to send quotations, invoices, submittals and related documents on time.</li><li>Assist and lead the customer to get best aftersales service after delivery of the products.</li><li>Responsible for clearing all pending ERP transactions related to sales;</li><li>Carries out any assignments instructed by the direct supervisor/manager.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must have Bachelors degree in Engineering</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Market knowledge</li><li>Similar product knowledge (as mentioned above)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: QAR1.00 per month
