 The Senior Manager role leads strategic procurement for the company&rsquo;s Supply Chain Logistics and Online (covering Logistics, Distribution, and Online) to deliver sustained value.
 
 
 The role drives transformational change in supply chain logistics sourcing activities, managing diverse business needs and service models (from fully outsourced to hybrid). It requires deep expertise in global and NOAM supply chain operations, including outsourcing, footprint optimization, and supplier consolidation. The individual must demonstrate the ability to lead large-scale, transformational initiatives in logistics sourcing and bring knowledge of leading-edge capabilities in the supply chain arena.
 
 
 The position is responsible for building and leading the NOAM Logistics Sourcing function and sharing end-to-end accountability for distribution, transportation services, and customer experience across all sectors.
 
 
 The role develops and maintains strong relationships with global commercial, supply chain, online, and finance leadership, and leads the implementation of strategic initiatives in support of global and regional transformation and growth. It also builds the talent base within the procurement organization, developing internal talent and attracting world-class competencies to ensure efficient operations.
 
 
 Working closely with stakeholders, the role ensures ELC implements optimal supply solutions aligned with the company&rsquo;s supply chain strategy. The individual owns the regional category strategy for supply chain and related sub-categories, embedding and delivering it through a team of sub-category managers and strong engagement with business partners and preferred suppliers.

 Description
 
 
 
 As Jacob's Head of Supply Chain, you will be our first hire on the operations/supply chain side of the business. Your mission is to architect and lead a resilient, cost-effective, and scalable end-to-end supply chain &ndash; from raw materials to last-mile delivery. You&rsquo;ll build and scale the infrastructure behind our brand. This is a high-leverage, high-ownership role, and you'll be coming into a business without deeply integrated systems and infrastructure (you'll be the one building them). We are looking for someone who has done this previously in a similar/adjacent CPG category.
 
 
 
 
 
 While your actual responsibilities will be vast, and rapidly evolving as our business does, here is a high-level outline of your responsibilities:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Own the end-to-end supply chain&nbsp;from ingredient sourcing and packaging procurement to co-manufacturing, freight, 3PL, and last-mile delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and manage vendor relationships&nbsp;with co-mans, freight partners, and fulfillment providers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement scalable SOPs&nbsp;across sourcing, production, quality, logistics, and inventory management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reduce COGS through strategic sourcing: optimize vendors (and ensure redundancies to avoid stockouts), negotiate better terms to improve working capital, and identify opportunities to reduce cost without sacrificing quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead our&nbsp;Quality Management System&nbsp;to ensure food safety, regulatory compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own&nbsp;inventory planning and forecasting&nbsp;in collaboration with Finance and Growth, aligning production and freight timelines with demand forecasts and marketing pushes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create visibility through documentation: maintain clear, up-to-date records for processes, POs, risk plans, and operational metrics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solve problems before they become fires: spot bottlenecks, address supplier issues, and drive accountability across partners.
 </li>

 Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 7+ years of experience in supply chain or operations at a CPG company, with at least 2 years in a leadership or ownership role. (we are looking for someone who has previously done this in a similar/adjacent category)
 </li>
 <li>
 Track record of managing sourcing, manufacturing, freight, and fulfillment across both DTC (primarily) and retail channels.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of food manufacturing, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated success in reducing COGS and improving vendor terms without compromising quality or speed.
 </li>
 <li>

 Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable tying operational plans to demand forecasts, revenue targets, and working capital constraints.

POSITION SUMMARY:</div><div>
The Senior Specialist &ndash; Supply Chain/Technical Designer is responsible for independently managing key aspects of the product development and sourcing lifecycle. This position exercises discretion and independent judgment in creating technical packages, evaluating fit samples, resolving vendor production challenges, and making recommendations that directly impact quality, cost, and delivery performance.</div><div>
As a subject matter expert, the Senior Specialist provides technical guidance and sourcing insights that influence vendor performance, operational efficiency, and product quality. This role partners with managers, senior managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives are achieved while contributing to strategic initiatives within the Supply Chain and Technical Services team.</div> 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Develop and approve comprehensive technical packages (tech packs) to support new product development, ensuring alignment with business objectives, brand strategy, and quality standards.</li><li>
Lead and manage fit sessions for assigned product categories, making independent technical recommendations on garment construction, fit adjustments, and vendor compliance.</li><li>
Exercise judgment in evaluating vendor performance, providing direction and corrective actions that influence sourcing decisions and long-term vendor relationships.</li><li>
Partner cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to align technical and sourcing requirements with corporate and financial goals.</li><li>
Collaborate with senior leadership to shape sourcing strategies, assess vendor capabilities, and recommend process improvements that impact efficiency and profitability.</li><li>
Identify and resolve manufacturing or production challenges, implementing corrective solutions and escalating significant risks to senior management.</li><li>
Analyze and monitor production timelines to anticipate delays, propose solutions, and safeguard on-time product launches.</li><li>
Provide strategic input on process optimization and workflow enhancements, contributing to the continuous improvement of sourcing operations.</li></ul><div>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Technical Design, Fashion, or a related field.</li><li>
Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of progressively responsible experience in retail apparel sourcing, production, or technical design across multiple product categories.</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of garment construction, technical design principles, and supply chain operations.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions that affect cost, quality, and timelines.</li><li>
