 Primary Purpose Of The Job
 
 
 
 Lead and provide subject matter expertise on the Department&rsquo;s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with QATAR ENERGY standards, applicable international standards, and regulatory requirements.
 
 
 Monitor, oversee, and report on all quality-related activities for assigned projects.
 
 
 
 Required Experience And Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil &amp; Gas industry with internationally recognized EPIC contractors or end-user/owner organizations, including projects involving pipelines and process plants.
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive hands-on experience in major EPIC projects, with involvement across all phases of Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Construction (E‑P‑I‑C), progressing from working-level roles to independently managing or heading the QA/QC function, supported by strong technical expertise in the core discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sound working knowledge of manufacturing inspection and certification processes for project equipment and materials, along with the associated Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working from corporate offices with functional responsibility for coordinating, managing, and supporting multiple projects simultaneously is desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to use and interpret Shell Design Engineering Practices (DEPs) and applicable international codes and standards, including ASME, ASTM, NACE, AWS, API, BS, and ISO.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is mandatory.

 Educational Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering from internationally recognized organization or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor Certification, ASNT Level-II Certification in RT / MT/PT/UT,
 </li>
 <li>
 Certifications in welding and painting inspection activities from internationally recognized certification bodies like AWS / CSWIP/TWI.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional certification / affiliation with internationally recognized Quality organizations like CQI or ASQ or similar is desirable.
