Senior Business Development Specialist (Upwork)

We are hiring a Senior Upwork Bidder to drive business growth through effective client acquisition and strategic bidding. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience securing projects on Upwork, with a strong ability to manage client relationships and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate high-quality projects on freelancing platforms.
  • Write and submit tailored proposals to increase win rates.
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and close opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to define scope, timelines, and pricing.
  • Maintain accurate records of bids, communications, and pipeline status.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their development.
  • Review performance metrics and optimize bidding strategies.

Requirements:

  • 1–1.5 years of relevant experience on Upwork.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proven expertise in proposal writing and client handling.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
