Job Title: Senior Engineer – Purchase

Qualification:

• B.E. (Mechanical / EEE) or Diploma (Mechanical / EEE)

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years in purchase function (preferably in motor / electrical / manufacturing industry)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle general purchase activities including C-class items, consumables, tools, and indirect materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors for quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers on price, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials without affecting production.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and update SAP systems.
• Coordinate with stores, production, and quality teams for material requirement planning.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support in annual budget preparation and cost-control measures.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of purchase procedures in manufacturing industries.
• Familiar with C-class items, consumables, tools & hardware.
• Proficiency in SAP systems.
• Analytical skills with focus on cost reduction.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
