Job Description

Role Summary

This role brings discipline and rhythm to how the HRBL and ER function plans, tracks, and delivers on key people priorities. With a strong focus on program management, business alignment, and cross-functional collaboration, this role ensures consistent execution of strategic initiatives, drives operational rigor, and enables high performance across the HRBL/ER function.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Rhythm & Strategy Execution

  • Establish and lead the operating rhythm for all HRBL-led talent initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and decision-making processes.
  • Drive execution of key talent strategies and organizational goals & talent plans (OSGTs), tracking progress and enabling accountability across HRBLs.

Portfolio & Project Management

  • Own the portfolio of projects managed within the HRBL function—ensuring priorities are clearly defined, resourced, and aligned to business needs.
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional HRBL projects from initiation through completion, bringing consistency, structure, and follow-through to execution.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Act as the primary liaison with the HR PMO to align on planning frameworks, milestones, and best practices across HR functions
  • Establish dotted line relationship with HR PMO leader
  • Establish strong working relationships across the HR functional COEs to ensure seamless execution of talent initiatives

Metrics & Operational Rigor

  • Establish and maintain a framework for measuring the effectiveness of talent initiatives with appropriate metrics; create operational dashboards for ease of use by HRBLs with their client groups.
  • Ensure timely reporting and data-informed insights that help HRBLs drive decision-making and continuous improvement within their client groups.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in HR, business operations, strategy, or program management roles—ideally within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Intuitive’s business lines or similar operations, with the ability to connect talent strategies to business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex programs with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
  • Executive presence and maturity—able to confidently engage with senior leaders, influence decisions, and manage sensitive or high-impact initiatives.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and high personal accountability for quality and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in program and project management tools and frameworks; certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) a plus.
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and energized by creating clarity and driving progress in fast-paced environments.
  • Positive, proactive, and grounded in a strong sense of purpose and team spirit.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target base compensation ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1:$132,000 - $190,000

Shift: Day
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
