Shift Incharge – Knits Dyeing

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all dyeing operations of knitted fabrics during the assigned shift.
• Ensure production targets, dyeing recipes, and quality standards are achieved as per plan.
• Monitor dyeing machines (e.g., soft flow, jet dyeing) and ensure proper loading, temperature, and timing.
• Coordinate with the Lab for recipe approvals and shade matching.
• Ensure proper chemical and dye dosing as per standard formulations.
• Minimize shade variations, reprocessing, and fabric damage.
• Record production data, machine performance, and downtime for reporting to the Production Manager.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.

Requirements:

• Education: DAE / B.Tech / B.Sc. in Textile or Chemical Engineering (preferably in Dyeing).

• Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in knits dyeing operations.

• Technical Knowledge:

o Strong understanding of dyeing processes, chemicals, and machine types (soft flow, winch, jet, etc.)

o Knowledge of shade matching, color fastness, and fabric behavior.
