The Site Supervisor manages on-site construction activities, supervises workers and subcontractors, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and coordinates with project managers and engineers to deliver projects according to specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations and workforce.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure work aligns with project plans and drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Enforce health and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards.
- Ensure construction work meets approved drawings and specifications.
- Report defects and oversee corrective actions.
- Monitor use of materials, equipment, and tools.
- Maintain inventory of supplies.
- Assist in scheduling deliveries and manpower allocation.
- Maintain daily site reports.
- Track project progress and delays.
- Record attendance and site activities.
- Communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
