Sr. Manager Power Planning & Infrastructure

Job Purpose:

To work mainly on Design, Planning and End to end management of mission-critical Data Center infrastructure of Zong. The candidate will be responsible for nationwide data center infrastructure management including all related components like Civil Work, Power Systems, , HVAC Units/, Fire Suppression System, DCIM, HT & LT switchgear requirements etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design and technology roadmap of internationally recognized standardized tier level data centers.
• Lead associated infrastructure components like HVAC system, Fire Suppression, power systems including Rectifiers & UPS, access control and environmental safety mechanisms.
• Lead the infrastructure lifecycle planning including upgrades, expansions, relocations.
• Manage complete budgeting requirements including CAPEX management.
• Ensure certifications and compliance as per international standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, ISO, ANSI/TIA) and local regulatory standards.
• Implement global best practices and innovations for facility uptime, energy efficiency and emergency readiness.
• Manage vendors, consultants and designers to ensure timely project delivery
• Align infrastructure roadmap with technology and business growth strategies.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and facility-related compliance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance related to audit and implement corrective actions.
• Lead capacity planning and readiness with cost optimization initiatives. Conduct performance reviews, training and development of staff

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

Minimum of Bachelors degree with Civil, Electrical or any other relevant degree and similar nature of experience as vacant position.

Experience:

Minimum Experience: 4 yrs. or Above relevant experience in the data center and power systems.
