Job Overview

SRS Group of Companies is seeking experienced and motivated Sub Engineers and Site Supervisors to oversee construction activities, ensure quality standards, and maintain timely project execution. The ideal candidates will play a key role in managing on-site operations, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities For Sub Engineer:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is executed according to drawings and specifications
• Assist Project Manager/Engineer in planning, scheduling, and execution of site work
• Monitor material usage and reduce wastage
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors
• Resolve technical issues on-site and ensure smooth workflow
• Ensure compliance with structural and design standards

Sub Engineers act as on-site technical representatives and help solve daily site issues while ensuring quality and timely execution

For Site Supervisor:

• Supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and site staff
• Assign tasks and manage daily work schedules
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality standards
• Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
• Maintain site records, reports, and progress updates
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage
• Communicate with project stakeholders and management

Site Supervisors ensure safe and timely project completion, oversee workers, and enforce safety standards on-site

Requirements

Education:

• Diploma / B.Tech / Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or relevant field

Experience:

• Sub Engineer: 2–5 years of relevant construction experience
• Site Supervisor: 3–6 years of experience in building/construction projects

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read drawings and BOQs
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site practices
