Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify international suppliers and manufacturers for new and existing products.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, lead times, and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Create and manage purchase orders and monitor order fulfilment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely production and shipment schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishment based on demand forecasts.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimise stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to manage international shipments.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics or supply chain issues.
- Manage import documentation and ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
- Monitor procurement and logistics costs while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and service providers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and product availability.
- Prepare procurement, inventory, and shipment reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, international sourcing, supply chain, or logistics.
- Experience working in an e-commerce, retail, import/export, or private-label business will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of international procurement and supplier management.
- Working knowledge of inventory planning and stock management.
- Familiarity with international shipping, freight forwarding, and Incoterms.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: Up to Rs120,000.00 per month
