About the Role:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in sourcing, engaging, acquiring and onboarding the top 0.0001% talent from across the country to fuel our ambitious growth. This role demands a proactive, strategic, and relationship-driven approach to attract exceptional candidates who align with our culture and vision. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, leverage cutting-edge recruitment tools, and maintain an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. Primary Responsibilities:

End-to-End Talent Acquisition Management

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for diversified positions across Cowlar, from job scoping to offer closure.
  • Ensure timely hiring across engineering, product, business, and operations roles, while maintaining top-tier candidate experience.
  • Execute structured hiring processes that align with Cowlar’s high-performance culture and long-term strategic goals.


Talent Pool Management

  • Build, organize, and maintain a continuously updated talent pool across all functions and verticals.
  • Evaluate candidates using Cowlar’s proprietary I2A2 assessment framework Intelligence, Integrity, Ambition, and Alignment to ensure long-term organizational fit.
  • Ensure the pool is diverse in skill sets, backgrounds, and professional experiences, ready to support hiring at scale.
  • Use ATS tools such as Manatal to manage, track, and optimize candidate journeys with data-backed insights. Possess flexibility to switch to other ATS tools if required.
  • Categorize candidates effectively for recurring and future hiring needs and ensure periodic re-engagement with passive talent.


Talent Branding Materials World-Class Standards

  • Develop and maintain a strong employer presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Google and Indeed.
  • Taking ownership and management of the Linkedin pages of Cowlar. Responding to the candidate queries, Posting updates, Job posts and achievements on Linkedin.
  • Analyze metrics from platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor to optimize employer reputation and visibility.
  • Design and maintain a suite of high-quality recruitment collateral including presentations, one-pagers, digital brochures, standees, posters, and banners.
  • Collaborate with Cowlar’s brand and marketing teams to ensure visual consistency, storytelling coherence, and design excellence.
  • Create role-specific pitch decks and videos to sell Cowlar’s value proposition to engineers, analysts, and business professionals.
  • Implement content-driven talent branding campaigns across social platforms, highlighting company culture, employee stories, innovations, and mission impact.
  • Strategically brand Cowlar in external channels and university engagements through content marketing and personalized communication.


Maintain a digital library of reusable and editable recruitment materials for internal stakeholders.

Pakistan Talent Sourcing

  • Develop and execute robust sourcing strategies targeting Pakistan-based talent across major cities and regional hubs.
  • Post Job posts on multiple sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Rozee.pk ,Indeed , Facebook/WhatsApp groups, and university job portals.
  • Create direct relationships with Pakistan’s top universities and technical institutions for pipeline development.
  • Lead out-of-station university visits to identify and engage top emerging talent.
  • Tap into Cowlar’s proprietary 12 Levels of Outreach to uncover hidden and passive talent within Pakistan.
  • Conduct local market intelligence to keep sourcing strategies aligned with evolving competition and salary benchmarks


University Talent Management

  • Build long-term partnerships with top universities and technical institutes across Pakistan.
  • Plan and execute university-facing recruitment activities: career fairs, seminars, guest lectures, recruitment drives, and industrial visits.
  • Promote Cowlar as an aspirational employer for students and early-career professionals through storytelling, content, and career education.
  • Lead the development and execution of early-career hiring programs such as internships and apprenticeships to support long-term talent strategy
  • Coordinate with internal teams to provide immersive internship or co-op programs with clear outcomes.


Global Talent Sourcing Future Growth

  • Strategically build future-ready pipelines for international hiring by mapping global talent hotspots aligned with Cowlar’s expansion goals.
  • Identify international platforms, global job boards, and overseas alumni networks to access high-caliber remote or relocation-ready talent.
  • Prepare Cowlar’s hiring playbook for cross-border recruitment, including coordination with Employer-of-Record services, compliance documentation, and visa support.
  • Support the development of Cowlar's global employer brand in priority expansion markets (e.g., Qatar, GCC, USA and EU).


Employment Contracts & Documentation

  • Prepare, edit, and issue employment, internship, and contractor agreements tailored to each candidate’s role, employment type, and relevant compensation structure.
  • Customize contract templates in accordance with the employment category (e.g. full-time, part-time, intern, remote, contractual), while ensuring alignment with internal policies and local labor laws.
  • Coordinate contract dispatch, follow-up, and collection to ensure timely completion before onboarding.
  • Respond to candidate queries regarding contract terms, clarifying any discrepancies professionally and escalating to legal if needed.


Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate seamless onboarding by introducing new hires to company policies, culture, tools, and communication channels.
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including documentation, system access, and first-day readiness.
  • Execute Pre-Onboarding, Onboarding and Post-Onboarding Checklists.
  • Oversee and execute the Cowlar’s 150 Days Onboarding Checklist.
  • Track onboarding progress through check-ins and feedback loops to ensure high retention and early-stage employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update probation period trackers to monitor new hires’ probation end dates, ensuring timely evaluations and follow-up actions as part of the post-onboarding process


Job Marketing & Strategic Outreach

  • Write compelling, well-branded job descriptions tailored to specific channels and talent pools.
  • Post jobs on multiple platforms such as LinkedIn, Rozee, Indeed, Glassdoor, university portals, and niche platforms (as needed).
  • Experiment with new sourcing channels and communities to access untapped talent segments (e.g., online forums, Discord, GitHub).
  • Optimize application processes and reduce candidate drop-off by constantly improving outreach clarity and value proposition.


Documentation

  • Work closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to develop screening tasks, technical questions, and interview rubrics.
  • Maintain role-specific screening libraries and ensure these are updated regularly to reflect current role demands and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to co-design task-based evaluations, logical reasoning tests, and skill assessments aligned with I2A2.
  • Prepare, edit, and issue employment, internship, and contractor agreements tailored to each candidate’s role, ensuring accuracy and alignment with individual details and company policies


Candidate Coordination & Interview Logistics

  • Schedule and manage candidate interviews (onsite and remote) efficiently, including communication with hiring teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare candidates with detailed interview logistics, pre-read materials, and expectations.
  • Track interview feedback, ensure debrief loops are closed promptly, and keep candidates updated throughout the process.


AI AgentBased Recruitment Execution

  • Operate Cowlar’s proprietary AI-based hiring assistant, ensuring smooth execution across automation workflows.
  • Liaise with the engineering team to resolve system bugs, suggest logic improvements, and enhance candidate interaction quality.
  • Provide structured feedback loops to improve the agent's efficiency, logic, and communication over time.


Recruitment Process Optimization & Tool Ownership

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize Cowlar’s hiring workflows, candidate experience, and recruiter efficiency metrics.
  • Own and manage Cowlar’s internal application portal (work.cowlar.com) overseeing structural changes, application flows, and feature enhancements.
  • Use tools such as Google Sheets, Trello, Manatal ATS, and others to manage hiring KPIs, dashboards, and reports.

Necessary Skill Set:

  • Experience with Google Docs. You should be able to draft detailed, structured Job descriptions, training material and interview preparations documents.
  • Experience with Google Slides. You should be able to create beautiful looking commercial material that efficiently gets the point across.
  • Experience with Google Meets & Calendar. You should be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and conducting online interviews.
  • Managing end-to-end interview logistics, including sending invites, confirming availability with candidates and interviewers, and ensuring smooth execution of online assessments or discussions
  • Experience and Expertise with Google Sheets
  • Proven experience in managing, updating, and maintaining online application portals to ensure seamless candidate engagement
  • Familiarity with ATS portals such as Manatal, Zoho Recruit, SAP, etc.
  • Strong research skills for identifying potential candidates and gathering relevant company information
  • Ability to create and optimize email sequences and cadences for outreach campaigns
