Team Lead (AI)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Team Lead – Development & AI who can lead technical teams while actively contributing to development and AI-driven solutions. This role requires a strong coding background combined with hands-on experience in modern AI tools and automation.

The ideal candidate should be capable of managing projects, mentoring team members, and driving innovation through AI-powered solutions to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development team, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery
• Actively contribute to coding, architecture, and technical decision-making
• Design and implement scalable solutions using modern technologies
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation tools, AI APIs) to improve productivity and product capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Marketing)
• Review code, maintain best practices, and ensure clean, efficient development standards
• Mentor and guide junior developers and interns
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into existing and new products
• Manage project timelines, tasks, and team performance
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, especially in AI and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in software development
• Proven experience in a leadership or senior developer role
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend and one frontend technology (e.g., Laravel, Node.js, React, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, APIs, or automation platforms
• Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and database management
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and team management abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI integrations (OpenAI, chatbots, automation workflows, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
