Job Summary

Al Wazan is seeking a Technical Assistant (Non-IT) with experience in construction or oil & gas projects to support the Technical Manager in managing day-to-day site and office operations.
This position is not related to IT or software support — it focuses on engineering documentation, procurement coordination, and project administration for field and office activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Manager in project coordination, documentation, and reporting.
• Prepare and track technical submittals, tender documents, method statements, and material approvals.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and site teams for quotations, delivery follow-ups, and documentation.
• Maintain and update project files, drawings, and procurement records.
• Support the drafting of purchase orders, correspondence, and bid evaluations.
• Follow up with internal departments (Procurement, QA/QC, HSE) to ensure deliverables are met on time.
• Prepare trackers, schedules, and technical presentations as required.
• Ensure proper filing, version control, and accessibility of engineering and site documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Science, or a related technical/construction discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in a construction, maintenance, or oil & gas technical support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of technical documentation, material submittals, and project coordination is essential.
• Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with construction or oil & gas background will be considered.
• Immediate joiners and those currently based in Abu Dhabi preferred

Note: Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Abu Dhabi and holding a valid UAE Husband/ spouse visa.
