Technical Coordinator

Spec-Egypt is a leader in delivering specialized technical solutions, and we are looking for a high-caliber Technical Coordinator to join our team in Al Rayyan.

This role is the bridge between complex engineering requirements and flawless project execution. Based in the prestigious Al Rayyan Tower, you will be the central hub connecting our technical teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure every project meets the "Spec" standard of excellence.

The Blueprint (Your Responsibilities)

• Strategic Coordination: Act as the primary link between the technical department and project managers to streamline workflows and deadlines.
• Document Control: Manage technical submittals, drawings, and specifications, ensuring all documentation complies with Qatar’s regulatory standards.
• Technical Support: Assist in preparing technical proposals, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material sourcing reports.
• Site Liaison: Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to ensure technical requirements are being met on the ground.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress against technical benchmarks and proactively identify potential bottlenecks or risks.

The Specs (What We’re Looking For)

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical coordination, preferably within the construction, MEP, or industrial sectors in Qatar.
• Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel is a must) and familiarity with AutoCAD or project management software.
• Precision: An eagle eye for detail—nothing slips past you, from a decimal point error to a missing site permit.
• Professionalism: Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is highly valued.
• Eligibility: Candidates must currently reside in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable visa.
