Technical Procurement Lead

Technical Procurement Specialist – Karachi

Salary Range: PKR 200,000 – 400,000 (based on experience)

Bore and Bore is looking for an experienced Technical Procurement Specialist to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in managing technical purchasing, vendor development, and procurement strategy for engineering, construction, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end procurement process for technical and engineering materials, equipment, and services.

Evaluate technical specifications and ensure compliance with project and quality requirements.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and timely procurement.

Develop and maintain strong vendor networks locally and internationally.

Collaborate closely with engineering, projects, and finance departments for technical and commercial alignment.

Monitor market trends, pricing, and material availability to support strategic purchasing decisions.

Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, standards, and audit requirements.

Prepare periodic procurement reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field with an MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain or Management preferred.
• 10+ years of proven experience in technical procurement or supply chain management, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and procurement software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
