Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing Architectural Design & Construction team in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and driving sales for architectural design, construction, and turnkey project solutions. This role requires a combination of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills to convert leads into successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for architectural design, construction, and turnkey projects across the UAE.
• Generate leads and secure projects from developers, consultants, architects, contractors, corporate clients, property owners, and government entities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Meet prospective clients to understand their project requirements and recommend suitable architectural and construction solutions.
• Review client requirements, drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with the Design, Estimation, Procurement, and Project teams to develop competitive quotations and project proposals.
• Prepare and present company capabilities, project proposals, and commercial offers to clients.
• Negotiate project pricing, commercial terms, and contracts to secure new business.
• Follow up on proposals, tenders, and client enquiries to maximize project conversion.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts, progress reports, and market intelligence.
• Ensure a smooth handover of awarded projects to the Project Execution team.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming development projects to identify new business opportunities.
• Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of UAE sales experience in architectural design, construction, or building solutions.
• Strong network within the UAE construction is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read drawings and understand project specifications.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
