Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Industrial Chemicals

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Manager with a strong foundation in chemical engineering and marketing to lead our industrial chemicals sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in techno-commercial roles within the chemical industry, including experience with multinational organizations. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and delivering technical solutions to industrial clients across Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand market penetration, and maximize profitability for industrial chemical products.

  • Techno-Commercial Support:

Utilize chemical engineering expertise to provide technical guidance to clients, conduct product presentations, resolve application-related queries, and ensure optimal product performance.

  • Key Account Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with industrial clients, including manufacturing, oil & gas, power, and pharmaceutical sectors. Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.

  • Business Development:

Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and secure specifications from key decision-makers (owners, consultants, engineers) to drive product adoption.

  • Contract & Price Negotiation:

Lead commercial negotiations, finalize contracts and agreements, and coordinate with costing and technical teams to deliver customized solutions.

  • Project & Payment Monitoring:

Oversee project execution to ensure timely delivery, resolve any technical or commercial issues, and manage payment recovery to maintain healthy cash flow.

  • Team Collaboration:

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, and supply chain to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
  • MBA in Marketing from a recognized institution (preferred)
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5–6 years of experience in industrial chemical sales
  • Proven experience with multinational chemical companies
  • Background in techno-commercial roles with leadership responsibilities
  • Industry Knowledge:

Experience in one or more of the following chemical sectors:

  • Cleaning chemicals / specialty chemicals
  • Industrial lubricants
  • Water treatment chemicals
  • Process chemicals for manufacturing industries
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
