Upwork Specialist

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Upwork Specialist who can manage our Upwork profile, generate quality leads, and secure projects through effective bidding strategies. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of Upwork’s platform, and proven experience in winning projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Upwork profiles to maintain a strong professional presence
  • Search for relevant jobs and submit high-quality, customized proposals
  • Communicate with potential clients professionally and promptly
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams
  • Negotiate project terms, pricing, and timelines
  • Maintain a record of submitted proposals and client responses
  • Ensure compliance with Upwork policies and best practices
  • Maintain a high job success score and positive client feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Upwork Specialist, Bidder, or Business Development Executive
  • Strong written English and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Upwork bidding strategies and algorithms
  • Ability to identify high-quality leads and avoid low-value projects
  • Basic understanding of digital services (IT, marketing, design, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation and client-handling skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple Upwork accounts or niches
  • Knowledge of CRM tools or proposal-tracking systems
  • Understanding of international clients (US, UK, Europe)
