Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! this position is Saturdays and Sundays including holidays. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS ensuring all special requests are noted
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and providing personalized recommendations
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements for optimal flow during busy hours

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory
• Basic math skills for order calculations, billing, and inventory management
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable
