We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive growth for our freelance platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, onboarding clients and freelancers, and building long-term partnerships to strengthen our marketplace presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase platform users (both freelancers and clients).
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract companies, startups, and individuals to post projects and hire talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with freelancers, agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve platform visibility and user experience.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and potential growth areas.
  • Pitch platform services to potential partners and close deals to meet monthly targets.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, providing regular sales and engagement reports.
  • Support promotional campaigns, webinars, and partnerships that drive engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (experience with freelance platforms is a plus).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with freelance platforms (e.g., Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Toptal, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, LinkedIn, and other outreach platforms.
