We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to fuel our growth. You will be the first impression for potential clients, tasked with hunting new opportunities, building relationships, and creating a robust sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator who thrives on exceeding targets and turning prospects into qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Research and identify potential clients through targeted cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other lead-generation channels.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to support business growth objectives.
- Opportunity Qualification:
- Engage prospects to assess needs, budget, and decision-making authority to determine alignment with our solutions.
- Effectively communicate value propositions and address objections to advance sales conversations.
- Sales Pipeline Development:
- Schedule and coordinate high-quality meetings, demos, and presentations for the sales team.
- Ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
- CRM & Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in [CRM, e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot].
- Track key metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked) to measure performance and optimize outreach strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine messaging, campaigns, and lead-generation tactics.
- Provide market feedback to enhance product positioning and competitive differentiation.
- Performance Metrics:
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly targets for calls, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in business development, sales, or a client-facing role (B2B experience preferred).
- Prospecting Expertise: Proven success in cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, with strong active listening and presentation abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Mindset: Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented with a passion for exceeding targets.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
