Email Marketing & Lead Gen Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a self-driven and highly skilled Email Marketing & Lead Management Specialist to fully own and execute our outreach strategy. This role requires technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with a broad suite of tools and platforms. If you are someone who thrives on automation, precision, and growth-oriented campaigns, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing & Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize cold and warm email outreach campaigns via tools like Mailchimp, SendX, Smartlead, and Instantly.
  • Manage domains and email deliverability using GoDaddy and Zapmail; ensure high inbox rates and low bounce/spam metrics.
  • Monitor domain health, DNS settings (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and warm-up tools to ensure long-term outreach sustainability.
  • Build and maintain automations and workflows for drip campaigns, retargeting, and lead nurturing sequences.

Lead Generation & Data Operations

Perform manual and tool-assisted lead sourcing/scraping across platforms like Craigslist, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, SalesQL, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups/Marketplace, Upwork, Reddit, Quora, Google Search, Crunchbase, and AngelList.

  • Use Apollo, Clay, RB2B, and enrichment tools to validate, clean, and enhance lead data.
  • Segment and maintain a dynamic, clean database of leads for personalized and scalable outreach.
  • Perform regular audits of lead data to remove duplicates, update statuses, and ensure accuracy.

LinkedIn Outreach & Social Selling

Run and optimize LinkedIn campaigns, including profile management, automation, connection funnels, and message sequencing.

  • Engage in communities/groups to organically generate leads and visibility.
  • Coordinate content posting with outreach for maximum engagement.
  • Use Clay to orchestrate workflows, unify data, and build intelligent outreach strategies.
  • Maintain consistent documentation and dashboards for campaign performance, lead source ROI, and deliverability metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales/marketing leadership to share insights and optimize conversion strategies.

  • Email Tools: Mailchimp, SendX, Smartlead, Instantly
  • Lead Tools: Clay, RB2B, Apollo, SalesQL
  • Scraping/Data: Manual scraping, data enrichment, cleaning, and management
  • Outreach Management: LinkedIn Automation (e.g., Expandi, PhantomBuster, or similar)
  • Email Infrastructure: GoDaddy, DNS (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), Zapmail, inbox warmup and spam health tools
  • Platforms for Sourcing: Craigslist, Indeed, LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, Upwork, Google, Crunchbase, AngelList, etc.

Who You Are

A systems thinker who enjoys building and automating processes.

  • Experienced in B2B lead gen, especially for services or high-ticket offers.
  • Strong in data hygiene, targeting accuracy, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent copywriting skills for cold outreach.
  • Capable of owning the entire pipeline—from sourcing to inbox to CRM handoff.

Preferred

Experience working with Clay as a data orchestration and enrichment tool.

  • Familiar with Zapier/Make for automation across email, CRM, and outreach tools.
  • Ability to create and maintain dashboards for performance insights

Job Type: Full-time
