Role Overview

The Head of People & Culture will act as the strategic custodian of Minerva’s culture, employee experience, and organizational development. This role requires a leader with strong emotional intelligence, a strategic mindset, and deep expertise in People & Culture functions—particularly within regulated environments (clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, or pharma).

This position will lead culture transformation, employee engagement, performance development, and grievance management, while ensuring a safe, respectful, compliant, and growth-oriented work environment across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Culture & Organizational Development

  • Develop and drive a unified, values-based culture that supports high performance, inclusion, and employee well-being.

  • Create culture-building frameworks, engagement rituals, and recognition programs across teams.

  • Champion diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives to foster a respectful and psychologically safe workspace.

  • Employee Relations, Policy & Governance
  • Serve as the primary custodian for employee relations and grievance management, ensuring confidentiality, fairness, and compliance.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies aligned with regulatory and ISO standards.

  • Advise leadership on people strategy, employee well-being, behavior management, and disciplinary matters.

Learning, Leadership & Capability Development

  • Build and implement a company-wide learning and capability strategy aligned to future skill needs.

  • Launch leadership development, coaching, and competency-building programs for emerging and existing leaders.

  • Partner with QA and Operations to embed continuous learning within SOPs, compliance, and quality frameworks.

Talent, Performance & Retention

  • Design and oversee talent development roadmaps, career pathways, and succession planning.

  • Introduce mentorship programs, growth planning tools, and data-driven retention strategies.

  • Lead performance enablement—focusing on growth, accountability, and meaningful feedback loops.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Human Capital Management, or related field. (Certifications in OD, Coaching, or L&D strongly preferred.)

  • 7–12 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or regulated environments is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated expertise in culture transformation, employee relations, L&D, and leadership development.

  • High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and proven ability to manage sensitive and complex situations.

  • Familiarity with ISO standards, audit-ready HR practices, and compliance frameworks is a strong advantage.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses

  • Medical health insurance coverage

  • EOBI coverage

  • Professional learning & development support

  • Paid time off and generous leave policies

  • Employee Well-being & Mental Health Support Programs

  • Team-building and company-sponsored events

  • Growth and leadership exposure opportunities

  • Family-friendly and diversity-supportive HR policies

  • Technology-enabled work environment

  • Community outreach & CSR initiatives

Note

As part of our commitment to gender inclusivity and to ensure a safe, empathetic, and approachable grievance-handling environment, female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for this leadership role.
