Logistics Coordinator

Logistics Coordinator – GLS-SL LLC (Al Rayyan)

The Logistics Coordinator at GLS-SL LLC is responsible for overseeing and supporting the end-to-end coordination of logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth supply chain performance, accurate documentation, and timely deliveries across all assigned projects and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and confirming deliveries
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics flow
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, delivery notes, packing lists, and customs paperwork
  • Monitor inventory levels and support warehouse teams in stock control and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company procedures
  • Resolve delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records in logistics and ERP systems
  • Support cost-control initiatives by optimizing transport routes and shipment consolidation
  • Communicate updates to management regarding shipment status, risks, and operational issues

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
