Logistics Officer


Job Summary:


The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and goods required for Teef Najd Group’s operations and projects. The role ensures that all logistics activities are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.


The Logistics Officer will work closely with suppliers, transporters, customs agents, and internal departments to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment while maintaining organized documentation and smooth workflow across all logistics functions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
  • Arrange and follow up on local and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery to designated locations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping, delivery, and customs documentation.
  • Track and report the movement and status of materials and goods in transit.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and project teams to align logistics activities with project schedules and requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, and customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance and delivery processes.
  • Monitor transportation costs, optimize routes, and ensure cost-effective logistics operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all logistics transactions and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during transport and handling.
  • Resolve any logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Support the development and implementation of logistics procedures and performance tracking systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, delivery schedules, and cost analysis for management review.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in the construction, contracting, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of transportation, shipping, and inventory management processes.
  • Experience in handling import/export documentation and customs clearance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
