Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to approved menus and recipes
- Plan daily menus considering nutrition, portion control, and cost efficiency
- Ensure high standards of food presentation, taste, and quality
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, storage, and stock control
- Minimize food wastage and monitor food costs
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Supervise kitchen assistants or support staff, if applicable
- Coordinate with management for special events, meetings, or catering requirements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and organizational policies
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field (preferred)
- Minimum 2–5 years of professional cooking experience
- Experience in corporate kitchens, hotels, or executive residences is an advantage
- Knowledge of local and international cuisines (as per requirement)
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
