Purchase Executive

Job Summary

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for construction and infrastructure projects. The role ensures that purchases meet quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules while complying with company policies and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source suppliers for infrastructure construction & building materials, equipment, and services.
  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine procurement requirements.
  • Request, analyze, and evaluate supplier quotations for price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely release of orders as per requirements & project schedules.
  • Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, delivery lead-time etc.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to ensure proper material planning.
  • Maintain updated supplier/vendor database and develop new supplier relationships.
  • Track material deliveries to ensure timely arrival and address any supply chain issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, safety standards, and ethical practices.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports for management review.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience in construction, infrastructure, or related industries (Mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP items, and Consumables sourcing.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
