Financial Controller

<div>Overview:

Supervise the accounting of costs for Vectrus Mission Systems. This is a key role in helping the company maintain strong cash flows. The role is for someone who has a strong understanding of GAAP and good research skills. This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the company.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for monthly project Forecast development and updates.</li><li>
Responsible for review of monthly financial Statements and Rev Recognition.</li><li>
Develop Project EACs</li><li>
Develop Annual Operating plans for projects.</li><li>
Interface with Vectrus Systems Corporation Headquarters for timely questions on charges through the intercompany accounts or posted by HQ.</li><li>
Ensures compliance with Cost Accounting Standards. Ensures compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.</li><li>
Responsible for monthly forecasting and reporting based on data from cost accounting systems.</li><li>
Support VAT Tax filings</li><li>
Statutory Tax Filings and supporting schedule development</li><li>
Responsible to provide support, provide accurate back up and run reports for internal and external auditors.</li><li>
Assist the Finance Director in projects as needed.</li><li>

Experience:</li><li>
Three to Five years of accounting related experience. General knowledge of US GAAP. Knowledge of cost accounting principles a plus.</li></ul></li><li>
Skills:<ul><li>
General PC skills and advance knowledge of Excel required.</li></ul></li><li>
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:<ul><li>
Works in a general office environment.</li></ul></li><li>
