 Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant
 
 to join our Finance team, In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, employee expenses, and vendor payments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 <ul>

 Invoice Processing:
 
 Review, verify, and input vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents into the financial system with a high degree of accuracy.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Payment Execution:
 
 Schedule and process outgoing payments&mdash;including bank transfers, checks, and wire transfers&mdash;in accordance with company credit terms and cash flow policies.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Vendor Management:
 
 Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor billing inquiries. Proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies, billing errors, and payment holds while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Account Reconciliation:
 
 Perform regular monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor statements to ensure all liabilities are accurately recorded.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Expense Administration:
 
 Review, audit, and process employee travel and expense reimbursement claims, ensuring adherence to BTGC&rsquo;s internal corporate travel and expense policies.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Month-End Close Support:
 
 Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing AP accruals, journal entries, and supporting documentation for external auditors.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Compliance &amp; Reporting:
 
 Ensure all AP activities comply with local tax regulations (such as VAT/Withholding Tax) and internal audit standards. Assist in generating monthly AP aging reports and cash outflow forecasts.
 
 
 </li>

 Required Qualifications &amp; Skills
 
 
 Education &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree
 
 in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 2 to 5 years
 
 of professional experience in an Accounts Payable or general accounting role.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Technical Proficiency
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 
 ERP Systems:
 
 Hands-on experience with modern accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Zoho Books,SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics).
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Spreadsheet Mastery:
 
 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation).
 
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Regulatory Knowledge:
 
 Solid understanding of basic GAAP/IFRS accounting standards and local tax compliance (e.g., VAT invoicing rules).

 Your day involves managing the Tooling Center&rsquo;s financial performance through cost center oversight, project controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and the delivery of accurate financial reports. Handling end-to-end financial operations, including cost allocations, SAP invoicing, CAPEX and asset management, vendor invoice reconciliation, and payment approvals. Additionally, ensuring compliance with FRG, IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls while supporting audits, driving financial targets, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

 Manage financial control activities across multiple cost centers, including cost allocations, tooling rental rates, and financial reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and cost optimization initiatives to drive business performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee project accounting activities, including cost reconciliations, SAP invoicing, billing management, and consumables tracking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the full asset lifecycle, including CAPEX planning, asset creation and retirement, vendor invoice reconciliation, and payment approvals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with FRG, IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls while supporting internal/external audits and export control requirements.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 What You Bring
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost center management, asset management, and procurement support.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are preferred.
