<div><p>Adeptus Advisors LLC, a growing full-service CPA and Business Management firm, with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Maryland, White Plains and California is seeking an <b>Assistant Account Manager</b> to support our Los Angeles Business Management practice. We are a tight-knit team that specializes in music business management with a clientele that consists mainly of touring artists, producers, songwriters, and independent labels.</p><p>
The Assistant Account Manager role supports the Account Managers, Managers, and Partners in all aspects of business management, including, but not limited to bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, tour accounting, insurance, royalties, tax planning, and general financial management.</p><p><b>
Job Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Day-to-day bookkeeping, including bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable (bill pay &amp; invoicing)</li><li>General communication with vendors, clients, and other industry professionals (managers, attorneys, agents, etc.)</li><li>Intercompany account reconciliation</li><li>Preparation of payroll reports</li><li>Preparation of commissions schedules</li><li>Assist with preparation of 1099 forms</li><li>Assist with various credit applications</li><li>Filing</li><li>Preparation of Excel schedules and various financial reports</li><li>Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to work well within a team and communicate efficiently</li><li>Willingness to learn and grow within the role</li></ul><p><b>
Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>1+ year of experience working in business management or accounting</li><li>Experience in the music industry is preferred</li><li>Thorough understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles</li><li>In-person 5 days a week (non-remote)</li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)</li><li>Strong proficiency with accounting software &ndash; AgilLink, Quickbooks Desktop, or Quickbooks Online</li><li>Experience with preparation of 1099 preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong written &amp; verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once</li><li>Ability to work overtime if necessary</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
