Summary The Associate Operations Supervisor is an exempt leadership role responsible for progressively managing daily waste collection operations. This position directly supervises drivers and helpers while developing the capability to independently oversee a full service area. 
 
The role exercises independent judgment in coordinating route execution, addressing operational issues, and managing employee performance, while receiving guidance from Operations leadership. Over time, the Associate Operations Supervisor is expected to assume increased ownership of operational responsibilities and team performance.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Directly supervise drivers and helpers across assigned routes or service areas</li><li>
Plan, assign, and monitor daily route operations to ensure timely and efficient service</li><li>
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management, including corrective action and documentation</li><li>
Participate in hiring activities, including interviewing and providing input on candidate selection</li><li>
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies</li><li>
Conduct ride-alongs and field observations to evaluate safety, service quality, and route efficiency</li><li>
Analyze route performance, overtime, and operational data to drive improvements</li><li>
Make real-time operational decisions to address service disruptions, staffing gaps, and route challenges</li><li>
Partner with Maintenance to ensure fleet readiness and minimize downtime</li><li>
Oversee completion and accuracy of DVIRs, inspections, and required documentation</li><li>
Lead team communications, including daily check-ins, safety meetings, and performance expectations</li><li>
Support resolution of customer service issues in a timely and effective manner</li></ul>

The DC Area Supervisor leads an hourly team and influences the entire distribution team to do the fast-paced work required to run the distribution center as efficiently, safely and productively as possible. This role will handle management responsibilities for the team members under his/her supervision. 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: Guides associates in daily operations, and monitors to ensure a high degree of productivity, safety, service and quality. Responsible for the training, coaching and feedback of hourly associates, and performs regular evaluations of associates through factual data and subjective observations. Uses discretion to provide coaching and counseling to associates regarding job performance, methods of performing job tasks. Resolves associate relations issues that arise in assigned functional area. Responsible for hiring, compensation, discipline and terminations of hourly associates in assigned department. Investigates operational errors to determine the cause and recommends corrective action where needed.</li><li>
15% Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and control; reviews reports identifies area of improvement for key metrics inclouding productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses.</li><li>
15% Business Planning: Coordinats and monitors operations with the functional area to ensure performance production rates are consistent with business plan and pattern, reducing irregularities and damages. Part-time Summer Intern - IT Team

<div>Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to assist the asset protection manager in performing his/her functions. Performing AP and Safety-related activities to support The Home Depot's business objectives, such as but not limited to minimizing shrink, risk and safety incidents, providing on boarding to AP programs, OSHA standards and investigations, training, coaching and response to potentially volatile situations requiring quick, effective decisions and conducting investigations. This includes responsibility for data integrity and tracking of various performance metrics across AP duties. The role has experience in asset protection, safety, merchandise auditing compliance, hazmat, OSHA standards, and investigations to ensure The Home Depot maintains a safe, a safe work culture by providing support to the asset protection manager and facility leadership team, in assigned building, related to improving shrink, safety, expenses and liability. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
40% Compliance:
</li><li>Assist DC Asset Protection Manager with conducting monthly audit cadence that provides insight into shrink risk, overall safety compliance, merchandise accuracy audit completion, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>
Assist DC Asset Protection manager with regulatory investigations such as OSHA, EPA, state and federal agencies.</li><li>
Leverage contracted site guard supervisors, and ensure all electronic security systems are in good working order at all times.</li><li>
The overall audit process(s) will highlight operational deficiencies and will lead to the development of a dynamic game plan that will correct or mitigate exposures identified within the scope of the audits.</li><li>
30% Safety:
</li><li>Review weekly incident reporting and review trends with leadership team</li><li>
