 Diagnoses disordersand provides therapy for patients who have hearing impairment and/or Dizziness. Provides instructions and supervision of student interns.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Duties and Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose hearing and balance disorders, identify causal factors, and determine appropriate treatment or rehabilitation plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Select, fit, and adjust hearing aids; instruct patients in proper use and maintenance; and conduct hearing and industrial screening programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform electroacoustic and noise level measurements and provide vestibular rehabilitation for balance-related issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with professional and departmental standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain departmental equipment, supplies, and compliance with safety, infection control, and quality policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to cochlear implant programs, including preoperative assessment, auditory rehabilitation, and postoperative tuning.
 </li>

 Desired Qualifications:

 At least Master Degree in audiology.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid Qatari MOH License.
 </li>

 Conversant with Health Care Accreditation Standards

Audiology Technologist / TechnicianThe Pearl International HospitalThe Pearl International Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Audiology Technologist / Technician to join our ENT team. The selected candidate will perform a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology procedures to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning for patients of all ages.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, balance, speech audiometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing</li><li>Assist ENT specialists in diagnosing hearing and balance disorders</li><li>Maintain and calibrate audiological testing equipment and ensure accurate record keeping</li><li>Support hearing aid selection, fitting, and patient counseling when required</li><li>Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings clearly to physicians</li><li>Ensure infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality are maintained in all procedures</li></ul>Minimum Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Audiology Technology or Hearing Sciences from a recognized institution</li><li>Valid or eligible QCHP license as Audiology Technologist or Technician</li><li>Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an audiology or ENT setting</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of audiological equipment and testing protocols</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in a hospital or specialized ENT clinic in Qatar</li><li>Familiarity with pediatric audiology and hearing aid programming software</li><li>Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is an advantage</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
