We are seeking a Commis &ndash; Pastry &amp; Bakery to support daily pastry and bakery production while maintaining quality, hygiene, and consistency standards.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in preparing pastries, desserts, breads, and bakery items</li><li>Follow recipes and instructions from the Pastry Chef</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pastry section</li><li>Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed</li><li>Support production and service requirements</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Previous pastry/bakery or commis experience preferred</li><li>Basic knowledge of baking and dessert preparation</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen</li><li>Willingness to learn and work as part of a team</li><li>Locally available in Bahrain</li><li>Valid transferable visa preferred (LMRA compliant)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: BD120.000 - BD280.000 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you currently working in Bahrain?</li><li>Do you have experience working as a Commi?</li></ul>Work Location: In person

This role focuses on learning, consistency, hygiene discipline, and accurate execution of recipes under supervision.Scope of Role<ul><li>Basic food preparation and station support</li><li>Following recipes and prep lists accurately</li><li>Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of assigned area</li><li>Supporting service flow during peak periods</li><li>Learning kitchen standards and food safety practices</li></ul>Key Performance Measures<ul><li>Accuracy of prep and recipe execution</li><li>Food safety and hygiene compliance</li><li>Cleanliness of workstation</li><li>Speed and reliability during service</li><li>Responsiveness to instruction and feedback</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Food Safety Responsibilities<ul><li>Strict adherence to hygiene and handwashing procedures</li><li>Correct use of PPE and uniform at all times</li><li>Maintain temperature control during prep and storage</li><li>Prevent cross-contamination through correct handling</li><li>Escalate allergen risks or safety</li></ul>Work Location: In person
