What will I be doing? 
As a Cluster Chief Steward, you are responsible for training, supporting and motivating the Back of House Team to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. <li>Ensures that all engineering areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner.</li>
<li>Contributes with ideas in finding solutions for daily operational issues within the complete Engineering Department.</li>
<li>Maintains a good relationship with Guests, other Departments, and fellow Technicians through the consistent display of outstanding LQE skills.</li>

 Scope of Position
 
 
 
 The Assistant Manager- Engineering is responsible for the daily operation of the engineering department and for ensuring that the department is operated in the safest and most efficient manner. The Assistant Manager- Engineering will assume the responsibilities of the Chief Engineer during his absence.

 Manages all corrective and preventive maintenance work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
 </li>
 <li>
 With the Maintenance Team, reviews the backlog report, work schedules, preventive maintenance plans and other reports produced by the Facility Planner. Ensures that the work can be done efficiently and within the standards of the hotel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviews preventive maintenance tasks and yearly work schedules for all equipment and that they are updated on a regular basis taking into consideration revised regulations from Local Authorities, revised Corporate Standards as well as input from Engineering Team.
 </li>

 Takes accountability in establishing the following key programs in engineering department as per MOHG standards.

 1a. Guest Room Preventive Maintenance - To implement a comprehensive PM programme and to maintain records for monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly and Annual Preventive Maintenance.

 1b. Public Area Maintenance - To implement a comprehensive PM programme for PA maintenance and to maintain records for monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly and Annual Preventive Maintenance.
