Job Overview:
 
Build it. Prove it. Start it up. On the floor and in the field, this isn&rsquo;t a stay-in-one-place technician role. As our Manufacturing Systems Technician, you&rsquo;ll operate in two worlds&mdash;splitting your time between hands-on fabrication in our Sedalia facility (~70%) and field support (~20&ndash;30%). From cutting and assembling PVC/CPVC systems (with some stainless in the mix), this is precision, hands-on work where what you build is exactly what ships&mdash;no separation between effort and outcome. The other 20&ndash;30% of the time, you&rsquo;re on-site, in front of the customer, watching your system come to life. 
 
You&rsquo;ll verify installations, run wet and leak testing, and troubleshoot in real time&mdash;making the call when something&rsquo;s off and fixing it before it slows the project down. When things don&rsquo;t go to plan&mdash;and sometimes they won&rsquo;t&mdash;you&rsquo;re the one who figures it out and keeps everything moving. We&rsquo;re not standing still either. We&rsquo;re expanding and actively scaling, with a strong pipeline of projects already lined up. You won&rsquo;t be stepping into maintenance mode&mdash;you&rsquo;ll be stepping into build mode, where your impact is visible from day one. If you read mechanical drawings, system layouts, without hesitation, work confidently in fabrication, and communicate clearly when it matters&mdash;especially under pressure&mdash;you&rsquo;ll do well here. Responsibilities
<ul><li>Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, routers, CNC machines, and injection molding equipment to cut, drill, and assemble PVC/CPVC components.</li>
<li>Measure, fit, and assemble parts according to shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders.</li>
<li>Perform machine setups, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to support efficient production operations.</li>

</li><li>Reviews, researches and/or enters data into various systems to support respective functional area.
</li><li>Compiles data and provides various regular and adhoc reports to management for review and determination.
</li><li>Serves as frontline customer service to receive, solve and/or escalate customer inquiries and issues.
</li><li>Assists management with Business Control Self-Assessment (BCSA) audit activity by retrieving data and/or files for review. Additional HR essential functions:
</li><li>Provides support for the recruiting process (e.g., scheduling interviews, sending backFedEx checks, attending job fairs/recruitment events as needed and contacting selected candidates.
</li><li>Provides customer service and support for both internal and external customers for HR-related processes.
</li><li>Assists with maintenance of job files; ensures proper dispositioning of all applicants and maintains personnel files for all employees.
</li><li>Conducts the new hire orientation process (e.g., scheduling the orientation, preparing orientation paperwork, and creating the employee file), including I9 completion/compliance.
</li><li>Provides support on auditing, reviewing, and processing the human resources paperwork and forms.
</li><li>Provides support with the package handler sort observation process (e.g., scheduling tour times, arranging tour guides, and maintaining the sort observation log.
</li><li>Generates, compiles, and distributes HR reports.
</li><li>Participate in special projects, to include job fairs and HR Assessments, etc.
</li><li>Provides support to HR Department as needed.
</li><li>Must maintain confidentiality and perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Minimum Education

</li><li>Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

</li>Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
