<div>The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day. The driver will collect and haul waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant as directed by dispatch.
Reports To
Operations Supervisor

Provide, replace and remove roll-off containers and compactors for customers and dump materials at a disposal site or recycling center.</li><li>
Complete work assignments in a safe and efficient manner to avoid damage and accidents whenever possible.</li><li>
Operates vehicle in accordance with Lakeshore Waste Services safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.</li><li>
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)</li><li>
Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service-related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch</li><li>
Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by LRS or directed by the Route Manager.</li><li>
Works closely with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.</li><li>
Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.</li><li>
Notifies Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, streets, alleyways or potential safety hazards.</li><li>
Communicates customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager</li><li>
Maintain and update driver log sheets throughout the day.</li><li>
Communicate professionally with customers.</li><li>
Keep commercial vehicle clean and free of trash/debris.</li><li>
Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.</li><li>
Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Legally eligible to work in the United States.</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
Must have at least a valid Class B CDL</li><li>
Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.</li><li>

I. Job Summary
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.</li><li>
Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.</li><li>
Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Operations Manager.</li><li>
Works closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.</li><li>
Performs all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.</li><li>
Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.</li><li>
Notifies Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.</li><li>
Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.</li><li>
Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer&rsquo;s location clean and free of debris.
</li><li>Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.</li><li>
Positions containers on the customer&rsquo;s property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.</li><li>
Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.</li></ul>

The CDL Driver II is responsible for operating a straight‑body roll‑off truck to transport non‑hazardous materials between Reworld facilities and client sites. This is a local or regional driving position depending on route needs.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">

The Regional Planner / Backhaul Coordinator supports operational success by optimizing synergies and backhaul opportunities across assigned fleets. This role partners closely with Driver Managers and operations leadership to ensure routes are efficient, drivers are productive, and account goals are consistently met. The position requires strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills to balance both driver needs and company objectives.

Communicate proactively with Driver Managers and operational leadership to support daily planning and backhaul needs.</li><li>
Build strong working relationships with Driver Managers to understand their operating styles and preferences.</li><li>
