</p><p>Construction Managers are Dennis Group&rsquo;s project site supervisors that oversee the daily operations of the construction activities including coordination of sub-contractors, site safety programs, project schedule, and project budget. Our projects are designing and building food and beverage process facilities (industrial / MEP projects). This involves much coordination with multiple engineering groups and designers / architects. The construction manager is a skilled communicator, able to interact with all levels of personnel, coordinate and facilitate meetings with competence, and have strong technical skills in order to function proficiently with multiple types of software programs.</p><p>
The Construction Manager ensures the progression of the project in providing attention and coordination in both field and office construction management tasks. <ul><li>Minimum of 10 years&rsquo; experience in the electric utility industry performing engineering related duties and/or management for high voltage electrical projects.</li><li>
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.</li><li>

Proven track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.</li><li>
Strong technical expertise in structural, civil, or electrical engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and practices.</li><li>
Expert knowledge of electric utility engineering and construction standards.</li><li>

Position Summary:</b></p><p></p><p><br>
As a Mechanical Engineer, you&rsquo;ll contribute to mechanical systems design for industrial, commercial, wastewater, and water facilities. Your work will span system expansions, total replacements, and new facility construction. This person will work closely with project managers and mechanical leadership to assist with the development of design documents including engineering reports, calculations and analysis, drawings, specifications, and the engineer&rsquo;s opinion of probable construction costs.</p><p></p><p><br>

You will lead mechanical system designs from concept phase through construction with the assistance of an EIT including the development of construction documents.</p></li><li><p>
Perform HVAC load calculations, energy models, life cycle cost analysis, and ventilation calculations in compliance with applicable codes and energy efficiency standards.</p></li><li><p>
Size equipment and develop layouts for HVAC (airside and hydronic) and plumbing systems.</p></li><li><p>
Review and edit construction specifications using MasterSpec for each applicable project.</p></li><li><p>
Participate in construction administration. Responsibilities include responding to contractor RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and handling construction submittals. Conduct construction site field observations and prepare punch lists during various stages of construction.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Required Qualifications:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><br>
5 to 10 years in mechanical design, specifically related to design and construction documentation for mechanical, plumbing and performance-based fire protection systems in new and existing facilities.</p></li><li><p>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.</p></li><li><p>
Professional Engineer (PE) License.</p></li><li><p>
Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE design manuals and guides, and USGBC LEED requirements, specifically for new or existing facilities.</p></li><li><p>
Basic knowledge of building mechanical equipment is desired. Some examples include fans, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, chilled and hot water loops, boilers, motors, pumps, variable speed drives, direct digital temperature controls and building automation systems. Plumbing and/or performance fire-protection experience also desired.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>
 REVIT/BIM and AutoCAD experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
