<ul><li>Prepares, revises and formats legal documents and correspondence using various software applications and according to instructions; proofreads documents/correspondence for content, spelling, grammar, language usage and punctuation and puts into final form.</li></ul>
<ul><li>May transcribe digital audio files to create written transcripts of recorded information.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepares documents and applicable fees for electronic filing as needed and according to instructions. E-files documents with federal and state courts and other agencies.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manages incoming and outgoing telephone calls, mail (regular, certified, UPS, FedEx, etc.), hand deliveries and emails.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supports client activities and provides direct contact client assistance and support.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintains and manages attorney/paralegal calendars &ndash; docket court deadlines, conferences, teleconferences, depositions, other meetings as requested.</li></ul>

Schedule:</b></p>

Compensation:</b></p>

Holland &amp; Hart offers of employment take into consideration a candidate&rsquo;s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. The Colorado and Nevada salary range is $32.94 - $54.90 hourly. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.</p>

The layout and web editor is responsible for designing the printed edition of The Northern Light. Also, they maintain the online presence of the paper by updating The Northern Light website and social media with new stories each week. They upload video projects to Youtube and publish a weekly email newsletter.<br>

The layout and web editor works with reporters and editors to ensure that only material ready for publication is published. They work with advertising representatives and the ad manager to ensure that any purchased ads run at the appropriate time.<br>
<br>
The layout and web editor works under the managing editor. They work with other staff on the paper to prepare, develop and repackage content for use in other projects. They hold weekly office hours and turn in a timesheet with comments every other week. The layout and web editor helps implement projects and achieve the long-term goals of The Northern Light.
