Steps from the Prophet&rsquo;s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city&rsquo;s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet&rsquo;s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.
Four Seasons is seeking a highly skilled and driven On-Site Lead &ndash; Design Services, based in Madinah, Saudi Arabia to oversee the final phase of a prestigious hotel opening project. Based on-site in the pre-opening office, this role is at the forefront of design resolution, construction coordination, and handover management&mdash;bringing the Four Seasons vision to life in partnership with ownership and key stakeholders. This role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
About the Role
As the Design Services On Site Lead , you&rsquo;ll take ownership of the Handover and Close-Out process between the Owner/Developer and Four Seasons. You will be the central point for managing all construction and design-related activities, ensuring the project meets Four Seasons standards, timelines, and expectations.
You will support decision-making and project resolution, drive collaboration across teams, and ensure that handover is seamless, efficient, and aligned with our brand&rsquo;s commitment to excellence. With a deep understanding of construction and luxury hospitality development, you'll be the crucial bridge between development partners and the hotel&rsquo;s operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Handover &amp; Close-Out Leadership
<ul><li>Lead and manage the final transition of the hotel project from the Owner/Developer to Four Seasons.
</li><li>Coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including Owner Representatives, Project Managers, Four Seasons Design Services and Operations teams.
</li><li>Establish and manage detailed handover and close-out strategies, timelines, and deliverables.
</li></ul>Project Management &amp; Communication
<ul><li>Maintain full oversight of snag list inspections, deficiency tracking, functional testing, and final documentation.
</li><li>Drive effective communication, flagging and resolving project issues, and escalating when necessary.
</li><li>Utilize Four Seasons' project management tools and systems for documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.
</li></ul>Operational Readiness Support
<ul><li>Partner closely with the Hotel General Manager, Portfolio Management, and Hotel Ops team to ensure readiness for opening.
</li><li>Facilitate handover of systems, hardware, and spaces in line with brand expectations and operational needs.
</li><li>Lead and support deep cleaning, sleep testing, and post-project evaluations.

<ul><li>Proven experience in hotel project delivery, particularly in handover and close-out phases .
</li><li>Strong background in design resolution, construction oversight , and stakeholder coordination.
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments with diplomacy and confidence.
</li><li>Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
</li><li>Experience working with high-end or luxury hospitality projects is highly preferred.
</li><li>Familiarity with formal control documentation, snagging, commissioning, and testing processes.
</li><li>Fluency in Arabic and English is a must.
