 1.Strategy Development
 
 
 
 Contribute to the development of sectional strategy as cascaded down from the departmental strategy and oversee its implementation throughout the section and its operations, to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across Marafiq.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 2.People Management
 
 
 
 Manage the section team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning, in order to maximize team performance and achieve sectional objectives.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 3.Operational Management
 
 
 
 Manage the section&rsquo;s daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes, in order to achieve high performance standards and meet established targets.
 
 
 Prepare, maintain, and improve standing and work instructions in own area of responsibility.
 
 
 Examine the time sheet and arrange and look over the overtime works in the Electrical section to ensure their necessity.
 
 
 Assist in checking the Vendors&rsquo; Quotation Evaluation prior to the initiation of the purchase orders.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 4.Budget Management
 
 
 
 Contribute to the development and consolidation of the sectional budget and monitor the section&rsquo;s financial performance versus the budget, to ensure the exercising of financial authority within established limits and the control of sectional budget expenditure.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 5.Overseeing Execution of Actions
 
 
 
 Manage and supervise the assigned tasks in the Electrical section and store at the power plant and supervise the proper implementation of the maintenance program for plant equipment, machinery, and related facilities.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 6.Forecasting Resources
 
 
 
 Forecast and procure spare parts, tools, services, and other resources required by the Power Station in own area of responsibility against the annual budget.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 7.Review &amp; Assessment
 
 
 
 Follow-up, review, assess, and develop the Operation Readiness Plan (ORP) and the Business Management System (BMS).
 
 
 Check the feedback received regarding the Maintenance Management System and provide feedback to the related stakeholders.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 8.Electrical Maintenance
 
 
 
 Plan and supervise predictive, preventive, and corrective Electrical maintenance work as well as troubleshooting according to guidelines of the Maintenance Manager.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 9.Safety Measures
 
 
 
 Supervise and maintain the process control and facilities safety protection system with EHS supervisor, for example, Fire Alarm and Protection Systems according to safety standards.
 
 
 Prepare the Electrical Isolation/De-Isolation procedure to ensure safety at work.

 Contribute to the development and manage the communication and implementation of the section&rsquo;s policies and procedures to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are clearly communicated and duly fulfilled.

<div>The Electrician installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage electrical devices and systems. Erects, inspects and maintains energized and de-energized high voltage electrical distribution systems and related equipment. Principal Accountabilities<ul>

<li>Inspects, troubleshoots, services, assembles, installs, connects, repairs, adjusts and tests low voltage interior electrical distribution, control and utilization equipment and systems.</li>

<li>Connects and utilizes test equipment and meters such as voltmeters, ammeters, megohmmeters and oscilloscopes.</li>
<li>Installs and connects distribution, power generation and utilization equipment components.</li>
<li>Uses common hand tools, tubing and conduit benders, hand and motor operated conduit threading machines, soldering irons and grounding systems.</li>
<li>Replaces defective components in power rectifiers, photoelectric sensors and voltage current regulator.</li>
<li>Erects, repairs and services electrical power distribution systems and equipment.</li>

The Engineering Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the hotel engineering team to ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems are functioning efficiently. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, coordinating preventive maintenance, managing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to deliver a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:<ul><li>
Supervise and lead the engineering team to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair of hotel facilities and equipment</li><li>
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs</li><li>
Conduct regular inspections of hotel systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, etc.) to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance</li><li>
Manage work orders, maintenance logs, and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date</li><li>
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for outsourced maintenance and repair work</li><li>
Train, mentor, and evaluate engineering staff performance</li><li>
Monitor inventory levels of engineering supplies and equipment; requisition materials as necessary</li><li>
Assist in developing and managing the engineering budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs</li><li>
Ensure adherence to all local regulations, codes, and hotel policies related to safety and maintenance</li><li>
Respond to urgent engineering issues and provide solutions in a timely manner</li><li>
Collaborate with other hotel departments to support operational needs and guest satisfaction</li></ul>
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:<ul><li>
Proven experience in a supervisory role within hotel engineering or facilities management</li><li>
Strong technical knowledge of hotel engineering systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire safety</li><li>
Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals</li><li>
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills</li><li>
Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications</li><li>
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities</li><li>
Flexible to work shifts, including nights and weekends as needed</li></ul>
